Testimonials
"Massive thanks to you and the rest of the guys for your performance at our wedding - it couldn't have been better. The fact that you had people up dancing who would never normally dream of setting foot on a dance floor under any circumstances sums up what a superb job you guys did. I've lost count of how many people have been singing Funkty Dumpty's praises since the big day!
You couldn't have been more accommodating and professional throughout which took a huge weight off my shoulders, and a special thanks for adding in our various requests to the playlist, and especially for learning 'It had to be you' for my little cameo - really appreciated it!"
"You were all brilliant and entertained us so well from the oldies to the very young (20+ year olds) so thanks a ton. Great singing and fantastic backing. Choice of music style and delivery was spot on and kept everyone enthused all evening. I am sure you will be kept very busy for a very long time!"
"Andrew and I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU for performing at our wedding on the 8th Oct, we really enjoyed it and it was everything we wanted! Everyone said they really enjoyed the music and it was great to see everyone up happy and dancing! Thanks also for letting me sing I really appreciated it and Andrew loved it (even though I was a bit out of tune in some parts, but hey... never said I was the greatest singer!). So thanks again to the whole band. You really made our wedding!"
"Hi Steve, Just a quick email to say a huge thanks for playing at our wedding on the 24th September. The band was absolutely amazing; we had so many great comments about you from our guests. Will definately be recommending you to friends and family! Sorry the email took a while, only really getting back to normal after the big day and honeymoon. Thanks again for a fantastic nights entertainment."
"A massive thank you for performing at our Summer Ball on Saturday night. Everyone had a fantastic night and the dance floor was packed. We hope to see you again!"
"Choosing a good band was top of the list when organising our wedding... we were very keen to make sure that everyone was up dancing all night. Funkty Dumpty were beyond brilliant. From the moment they kicked off everybody was on the dance floor... from my 80 year old Nan to the young flower girls. To sum up how good they are; at the end of the evening there was a big pile of shoes in the middle of the dance floor (male and female shoes) as everyone had danced so much their feet were hurting but no one wanted to leave and miss out!!! A standing ovation with chants of 'one more song' (shouted twice!) really does say it all. We would highly recommend Funkty Dumpty and we really can't wait to see them again. Thank you so much."
"Hi Guys,
We had a brilliant time at our wedding and your performance was fantastic, thank you. It was great to see so many people dancing and lots of our friends have said how much they enjoyed the evening and the band.
Thanks very much again!"
"So sorry for the delay in contacting but as you can imagine it was just as hectic after the wedding as it was building up to it. But now as I chill by the pool in Las Vegas I thought I'd pen an appreciation letter!!!
You were a phenomenal success!!! Everyone, and I mean everyone, said how great they thought you were, absolutely brilliant!!! You fit in perfectly!!! Everyone I have spoken to since said that it was the most entertaining wedding ever and the band were the highlight!!
Thankyou so much for helping us massively and I know of a many people who have events coming up and said the band would fit in great, I made sure they have got your details."
"Thank you for a brill night at our prom :)"
"Thanks once again for the fantastic performance at our prom, you guys made the night, you should be proud!"
"Dear Steve,
Now the dust has settled on our fantastic wedding weekend I just wanted to drop you a note to thank you for such a great performance - the band were top notch, and we have had so many comments since the day on how much your music was enjoyed (I guess the amount of dancing going on was a giveaway!). I only hope my own rendition(s) of Mustang Sally didn't cause you too many nightmares afterwards... I'm afraid it's somewhat of a tradition for me to perform it at weddings - it's the only song I really know all the words to and as you probably saw, I didn't need much encouragement from the 'crowd!' I think I'll hang up my singing boots now - I'll call that one my swansong.
Could you also please pass on special thanks to Richard for his trumpet solos in Church? He was fantastic... a very talented musician and it was a pleasure meeting him.
Anyway, thanks again - nice to meet you and we will certainly recommend you to anyone else looking for a band."
